Public administration is a management course focusing on efficient management and administration of public policies and parastatals. It is more of the public service inclined stemming from the government sector, agencies, and resources to other management areas such as budgeting and allocations, state resources management, politics and governing ethics and structures, and government statutory operations within a state, province, or nation generally.

This is one of the most studied courses in Nigerian universities, although the course is more of female students compared to the number of male students that apply. This is not to say that males aren’t studying public administration. Out of every 100 public administration students, at least 60 of them are female students, now that’s what I mean.

This article is focused on public administration courses, hence the courses taught in both first and second semesters are outlined below for easy grasp and to enable intending candidates of the course to prepare and know what to expect before entering school.
