The Kwasu portal is designed to provide students with digital information and access to documents and forms for registration of courses, application for a programme, dissemination of information, and printing of timetables among other functions. This is to enable a speedy, up-to-date and highly sophisticated academic process within Kwasu premises.
Kwasu also known as Kwara State University is a higher institution in Kwara State, Nigeria. Kwasu is a state-owned university that has produced several high-profile personalities in Nigeria. The university was established in late 2009 to provide high-quality education for its students across Kwara state and environs.
KWASU is located along Kwara State University Road, Malete, Kwara State Nigeria. The university is situated within a beautiful rural community where it occupies several Hectares of land. There are approximately 52,000 students at KWASU out of which about 40,000 students are undergraduates, while the remaining 12,000 are postgraduate students (summation from all the university campuses).

Students must insert their “Application Number, Registration Number or Matriculation Number” and then a password (created during the first application). The platform gives an Application option to first-time user’s portal.
New Applicants are to “click here to apply” and then apply to Kwasu with aspirants needing to apply to KWASU with the necessary information to apply online seamlessly without errors.

Peradventure you’ve lost your password, the portal provides a button for “recovery of password” Just click the button to come to this page
Insert your login ID and email address registered in the portal then click “Recovery Password” to access the lost password via your email inbox.
Then you can return to the main page to insert your login details (matric Number/ Registration Number and Password), then click the green login button to enter your dashboard in the school’s portal. If you experience any technical issues contact the school IT experts
Other programs include the Topup degree, CEERMS-Newgate, CEERMS-Ilorin Kwasu Center, Kwasu Business School, IDEL (part-time), EMIRATE College of Health Science and Technology, IJMB,/JUPEB, CAIL/KWASU College of Health Technology, Pan Africa College of Health Technology, and Garu Islamic College of Health Technology.
1. The minimum age requirement for admission to the school is 16 years.
2. Submission of a recommendation letter and testimonial from the applicant’s senior secondary school principal is mandatory.
3. A reference letter from a reputable individual who can attest to the candidate’s character is also required.
4. KWASU provides direct admission to eligible candidates who have obtained the JAMB Direct Entry (DE) form.
5. Applicants must possess a JAMB result and have met the university’s cut-off mark.
6. Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credits in WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB/SISC exams or equivalent qualifications, obtained in not more than two sittings. These credits must include English Language at the credit level, which is compulsory for all applicants. Additionally, a credit in Mathematics is required for those seeking admission into Degree Programmes in the faculties of Management Science, Natural and Applied Science, and Education courses.
7. The necessary documents to be submitted for admission at KWASU include a filled online application, school transcript or its equivalent, O’level results (WAEC, NECO, GCE, etc.), application fee (non-refundable), and any other relevant documents.
The National Universities Commission (NUC) recently approved 13 new programmes in KWASU comprising two (2) undergraduate programmes and 11 postgraduate programmes.
The new undergraduate programmes are:

B.Sc. – Development Studies
The newly approved postgraduate programmes include;
LL.M and PhD in Common Law
LL.M and PhD in Islamic Law
M.LIS and PhD in Library and Information Science
PhD in Human Kinetics
PhD in Special Education
MSc in Public Sector Accounting
MSc in Public Sector Accounting
MSc in Development Finance
The above-approved programmes are both full time and part time commencing from the 2024/2025 academic session in KWASU.
