This is particularly true for ESUT aspirants asking for the next step after buying the ESUT screening form.
The following are steps to take immediately after writing and passing JAMB also known as the UTME exam but now wish to apply to ESUT for admission.
This article is for aspirants who chose Enugu State University of Science and Technology and those who didn’t choose the school as one of their preferred choices during UTME registration but wish to do so now.
Note: All candidates must take an online screening test to secure admission in ESUT. Also note that if you did not choose ESUT at first instance, you are required to first apply to JAMB for a change of institution.
ESUT cut-off mark is 160, except for the medicine and surgery department, medical laboratory sciences, nursing, law, and pharmacy whose cut-off marks are 200.
Candidates are required to pay a sum of N2,000 (Two Thousand Naira) for the online admission screening exercise.
Candidates who passed the screening exercise will be reached via text messages or vide the school’s portal.
Go to the ESUT portal
Click on admission screening registration
Insert your jamb registration details
Key in the required data to generate payment invoices. You need the invoices to be able to pay the stipulated N2,000 via the Interswitch platform either by bank transfer or payment with debit card
Go back to the application page and insert your jamb number
Continue with the online form
Confirm the entries you had made in the form
Submit your application and print out knowledge slip.
Also, note that,
The candidates awaiting their May/June WAEC or NECO results or NABTEC results can apply. All the results released after 30th September won’t be accepted for admission. You could face disqualification if your details are inconsistent, especially your name and other personal details, so be careful.
All direct entry candidates who applied to ESUT for admission will also go through an online screening exercise.
