THE 2025 JAMB EXAM HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED DUE TO MASS FAILURE

Following the massive failure and poorly organised 2025 JAMB exam, the JAMB registrar has come out to apologise.

According to the Jamb registrar, “despite our best effort, we are human and not perfect.” The JAMB registrar broke down in tears as he admitted error in the just-concluded 2025 UTME and apologised to affected candidates.

He also announced that fresh exams will be held for 379,997 affected candidates in the five states of the South East and Lagos. The board will begin sending out rescheduled exam details via text messages and email addresses from 15^th May 2025.

While some people are clamouring for the sack of all the JAMB officials involved in this error, their attention is also drawn to the fact that many affected candidates travelled from far and near for that exam, will their transportation going to be refunded to them?

Comments From Parents of Affected Candidates on the Poorly Conducted 2025 JAMB Exams

“What exactly are the tears for after frustrating and sabotaging the students with your incompetence?” Let JAMB officials be accountable for their mistakes without dragging the students into it by rescheduling exams. “These children have been through enough stress and risk travelling to write exams, and I wonder how possible this is for the majority who are currently writing WAEC. The best option is to make institutions reduce their cut-off marks or set exams for admission”

“JAMB started the manipulation when they did accreditation by 6:30 am, but now, due to the faulty JAMB system, they are here to cry like babies. These guys keep doing everything to frustrate the youth and their ambitions, I hope they will pay for the extra burden and damages already caused. If Nigerians were silent, they would have been warming up to make more sales for the JAMB form text year”

“What will then happen to students who have already committed suicide due to the heartbreak of the poor results?”

“This is the height of incompetence, you can’t jeopardise people’s future and ascribe it to a negligent error.”

“What is the guarantee that students who had low scores in previous JAMB exams were not also affected by this so-called ERROR? What if students didn’t start talking or calling out jamb? Jamb would have blamed it on the students for mass failure, right? How sure are they that it is only 379,997 candidates that were affected?”

“JAMB has been making this mistake for a long time to make candidates rewrite the exam to make more money from the purchase of fresh forms. They only acknowledged this year because they overdid it without conscience and out of greed.  It’s high time they put an end to JAMB and allow higher institutions to select candidates themselves for admission.”

One of the affected candidates stated that “last year I scored 230 in Jamb and this year, I decided to study hard to score higher, but I was surprised when I saw my result. Even someone who didn’t read well scored higher than I did, and I was sure that I saw and answered many questions correctly. And another funny thing is that the centre where I took my JAMB exam logged us off before our time elapsed, making many candidates not to answer all their questions.” This is terrible.

JAMB Fixes New Exam Date due to error

Please inform everyone who sat for the 2025 JAMB exam in Anambra State and other Eastern States and Lagos to go to the CBT centres close to them from Thursday, 15th May 2025, to reprint their exam slip. They are to retake the Jamb exam on Friday, 16th May 2025 and Saturday, 17th May 2025. This is from a reliable source.

The candidates affected in the Lagos Zone total 206,610 candidates

Affected candidates in the Owerri zone total 173,387 altogether

affected Centres include: 157 out of 882 centres

65 centres in Lagos were affected, 92 centres were affected in Owerri, Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo State Zones.
