Suggestions for further studies are an important section in research writing, researchers often, are required to suggest related topics or subjects that other researchers or students might desire to delve into subsequently. Suggestions for further studies usually come into play when it appears that a study has not done justice to a problem when there are still areas patterning to a survey that need to be attended to or researched. The researcher who has already started some on a topic may feel there is a need to look into other aspects of his study that he could not sufficiently cover due to the following reasons:

1. Time factor
2. Financial constraint
3. Political interference
4. Social or cultural difference
5. Personal belief
6. War or unrest at the time of the first study
7. Personal limitations like handicaps etc.

Many researchers desire to see others continue from where they have stopped due to limitations or time factors. Hence, they from their findings and data collected throw up subjects that need some attention or dug deeper while the existing study the researcher has done is relied on as good material or foundation to ease the subsequent studies derived from the suggestions brought forward for consideration or attention.

Ordinarily, research may not be entirely concluded by the first researcher particularly when the said research topic is still a virgin, other researchers would likely want to continue to find more adequate solutions that could tackle any future advanced problems from the first found by the first initiator of the study.

Therefore, suggesting topics or areas for further study could help potential researchers with the following;

1. To save time searching for a suitable topic to study
2. To have adequate materials as a resource to start continuation research
3. To get a broader knowledge about a subject or problem
4. To have a first guide before embarking on a study
5. To decide whether carrying out a study on a particular subject is feasible or not.
